I hadn't heard of this specific machine before I went over to Spun Suger Quilts and started checking it out! Since I've been married (May 22) & returned from our honeymoon, I've began to get accustomed to the changes that come with marriage; i.e: washing clothes for two people (one that is VERY picky about his clothes) instead of one, cleaning up after two people (one that has had someone behind him for the last number of years picking everything up for him) instead of one, and also becoming more acquinted with my very basic, works fien for this beginner, sewing machine.

As I become more and more familiar with sewing machine things, such as different feet, the different types of fabric, needles, thread, and all these types of things, I get more and more excited to start a ton of cool projects. I've been very interested in quilting since I've returned from the honeymoon and have been finding and reading blogs EVERYWHERE about quilting. Some that have patterns, some that show off their projects (giving me GREAT ideas) and some that are way over my skill level that I drool over each time I visit.

I just orderd my first fabric 'bundle' (if you will) to use in a project that I'm thrilled about, but I have to keep it secret until a later date...maybe you'll come back to read more about it (a couple months) later!

I also stumbled on a blog today that is having a giveway! I've been folloing many blogs lately where I have been itroduced to a ton of giveaways each week and I'm very excited about this particular giveaway. I was drooling over a quilt tutorial by V & Co. over at Moda Bakeshop and I just happened upon the V & Co. blog. I was incredibly excited to see that they're doing a giveaway by The Fat Quarter Shop (my favorite fabric store so far).
